JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises and coordinates cleaning tasks in all areas of the casino for a particular shift. Reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager.
All the Housekeeping Supervisors are working supervisors.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Performs supervisory duties such as interviewing applicants, maintaining personnel records, performance appraisals, discipline, addressing complaints and resolving problems on shift.
2. Responsible for organizing shift assignments and work schedules, adequate staffing, conducting shift meetings, training, and work procedures.
3. Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the general cleaning of the casino and ensures quality of work of assigned shift according to department standards.
4. Responsible for training and enforcing proper methods of cleaning and safety procedures.
5. Responsible for enforcing all policies and procedures as established.
6. Must keep informed of all casino activities and promotions, must possess good public relations skills, and be courteous and helpful to guests and associates at all times.
7. Must exhibit good leadership skills, and always perform duties in a positive and professional manner.
8. Must read, understand, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Personnel Policies and Procedures, and Department Rules.
9. Must attend all meetings and/or training as directed by management.
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

1. Must have a telephone.
2. Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds, frequently above waist height.
